Take a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and go for a refreshing swim at Anholt Vesterstrand, which has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag again this year.
Jump in your swimsuit, bikini, swimming trunks or wear 'pure natura' and enjoy the clear and clean salt water. The bathing water is clean at Anholt Vesterstrand, and at the same time there is a special focus on sustainability.
Blue Flag is an international certification scheme administered in Denmark by the Danish Outdoor Council. Blue Flag beaches and harbors undergo regular inspections throughout the season to ensure compliance with the strict criteria.
This summer, you can find the Blue Flag on 153 Danish beaches and 15 harbors.
"Clean bathing water is important to many people, but we know that many Danes also care about sustainability, and one of the most important criteria for Blue Flag is a focus on sustainability, for example in the form of activities that make guests more aware of nature and the environment. Therefore, I am pleased that we can once again this year give so many beaches and harbors the seal of quality that the Blue Flag labeling scheme is," says Winni Grosbøll, Director of the Danish Outdoor Council.
Get ready to explore Anholt Vesterstrand, where you can enjoy purity, tranquility and a refreshing Blue Flag bathing experience.
