About Anholt harbour
Welcome to a cosy marina on the island in Kattegat
Anholt is located in the Kattegat off Grenaa. If you arrive from the south or southwest, you can add an extra experience to your trip: the 111 offshore wind turbines in the Anholt Offshore Wind Farm, which have now become a prominent landmark for Anholt. Anholt harbour is a pleasant marina and a popular destination for yachtsmen, especially in the summer months.
Practical info for your stay at Anholt harbour
On arrival
The Sailor House with toilets, bath and lounge is on your right as you leave the bridge. In the Sailor's Room there is also a machine for paying port dues. The machine only accepts payment cards (no cash).
You can also buy a card for electricity and showers at the vending machine in the sailing room.

A discount, consisting of 1 free day, is granted for the purchase of a 7-day port ticket. Please note that 7 days must be purchased at once and 7 days must be entered into the machine.
During your stay
Please note that neither charcoal nor gas barbecues are allowed on board boats, bridges or other areas of the harbour, with the exception of the barbecue area. Loud music, disturbing other boaters, is not allowed on the bridges. The use of sound boxes is prohibited in the harbour area.
15 minutes before ferry departure, activity in the harbour must cease. This applies to paddle boards, inflatable boats and the like. Please be aware of deviations from normal times.
Normal ferry times are:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 | 15:45
Saturday: 8:00 | 14:00 | 14:45 | 20:45
Sunday: 12:00 | 19:00
Checks on port dues are carried out on an ongoing basis. Please note that a fee of DKK 100 will be charged for non-payment after an attempted request.
You can fill up with petrol and diesel around the clock and pay by credit card.
The harbour master or the staff is daily in the office next to the sailing room. Check the window by the office for opening hours as these vary according to the season.
On departure
On departure, the card is returned to the machine at Sailor House. Open the menu and follow the instructions. Any balance will be returned to your account.

Get to Anholt easily by ferry from Grenaa port
For most people, a visit to Anholt is also synonymous with a trip on the M/F Anholt. If you cannot reach the island by boat, you can take the Anholt ferry from Grenaa to Anholt.
It takes about 3 hours to sail between the mainland and Kattegat Island.

There is a ferry connection between Anholt harbour and Grenaa port. On Anholt you can experience beautiful nature and a unique, stress-free environment. Among the well-known sights are the desert, the lighthouse or the seal colony at Totten. The ferry ride was about three hours.
